Royal Anchors was conceived in the year of 2012 by Johar Shakir & Ebrahim Haji. Both having the business background & driven by passion of manufacturing were looking forward to making it big. Our conception aligned with the prestigious project of Chennai Metro Rail. We were desperate to get our foot in to the door and we went to all the lengths possible in providing the service that cleared all the stringent criteria put up by the authorities resulting in us qualifying for the project.
Even after being a baby in the discipline but having cleared the requirements for the Chennai Metro propelled us in bagging the fully automated Coal Terminal Project at Tuticorin. We became the lone supplier for the entire project & assisted the client for their fasteners related needs.
The year of 2014 came with a lot of new experiences in terms of the production & the expansion of our unit. After testing the waters for past two years we took a huge step in terms of increasing our capacity by adding new machineries to our production line & by expanding our line of products in order to cater the wider audience.We were able to bag two of our largest projects this year. We assisted MMDA Machinery at Tada Plant in Chennai & became the supply vendor for Tube Investments of India Private Limited.
Our inputs of past 3 years & the portfolio of our work propelled us towards basketing the project of Indian Air Force Base, Hindan, UP. We supplied the Anchor bolts for the foundations in GR8.8 & GR10.9 in dia ranging from M32 to M64. Our habit of taking the utmost care during the production in terms of quality resulted in clearance of all requirements in the first trial itself. We are quite proud to say that we were tested by the Boeing itself.
During the year of 2016, among all the projects we catered to the one that stands out is the one where we were given the chance to serve our land of Chennai. We bagged the supply contract of 10,000 Foundation Anchor Bolts for the street lamps project undertaken by the Greater Chennai Municipal Corporation.
After creating the buzz in the local market, we felt it was the correct time to step on the accelerator and increase our reach globally. We were able grab the opportunity to associate our valuable name with FIFA World Cup 2022 project by becoming the anchor bolts vendor for the FIFA stadiums in Qatar.
Even after the 7 years of conception we were still looking forward to hit it home in the hydrocarbon industries more specifically petroleum & petrochemical industries. In 2018 Chennai Petrochemicals Limited provided us that opportunity when they launched their Bharat Stage VI (BS6) fuel project.
Decathalon Sports, Chennai & Emami Agro became the new feathers in our cap. While supply and catering to their need we realized the need for the expansion. It has always been our aim to provide the service of highest quality in the lowest possible time frame. This ideology was the driving factory to increase our inventory by putting up the new machineries and providing the automation to the existing ones nearly doubling theirs.
During the uncertain times of COVID, we were able to take care of our employees & clients alike. We left no stones unturned in providing the required assistance possible to our employees and in terms of catering the needs of our clients before everything went under the lockdown.
We are glad to announce that we are back & ready to serve you for all your anchor related needs. We would say it loud to have Foxconn for Apple Inc. as our first client post COVID followed by the supply contract for the Foundation Anchor Bolts for Nehru Outer Ring Road, Government of Telangana.
This year has been quite exciting as we served top-notch industries and manufacturers in various sectors. Firstly, it has been a privilege to supply HT Alloy Foundation Bolts to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for their new aircraft hangers. Our Foundation Bolts have made their mark at Bunge India Pvt. Ltd. (Agribusiness), Ana Oleo Pvt. Ltd., Kundankulan Nuclear Power Project and Adani Kattupali Port Pvt. Ltd. Furthermore, Sag Rods along with Foundation Bolts were manufactured based on specific requirements for Camphor Shoes (India) Pvt. Ltd and Apache Sez Development India Pvt. Ltd.
